# Food and Health Communications

> Food and Health Communications, Inc. is an independent, Southern California culinary publishing and design studio that has produced nutrition education for over 30 years. We create ready-to-use handouts, recipes, PowerPoint presentations, posters, games and video lessons for dietitians and nutrition educators. We accept no advertising. Founder and Executive Editor: Judy Doherty, MPS, PCII, a CIA-trained chef. We are a USDA MyPlate National Strategic Partner.

## Who we serve

Our materials are written for professionals and organizations: registered dietitians, teachers and FCS educators, school nutrition staff, extension educators, hospital nutrition teams, WIC, EFNEP and SNAP-Ed educators, public health departments, personal trainers, wellness coaches, nurses and pharmacists. Individual consumers are welcome to use our free handouts and recipes. We do not provide individual medical advice.

## Membership (professional license)

Members get libraries of ready-to-use handouts, PowerPoint presentations, recipes, video lessons, newsletters, articles, health calculators and games. Professional and Gold members receive a license to copy and distribute the content for their department while the membership is active. Billing is prepaid, annual or monthly, and can be cancelled anytime.
