What we do to support accessibility
We include accessibility in our policies and in every site update.
We test our pages with the free WAVE tool and fix the errors we find.
We add alt text to describe pictures and images.
We use readable font sizes and strong color contrast.
We offer captions on embedded videos.
We provide a contact button at the bottom of every page for help from a real person.
Recent improvements (November 2026)
Added a main page heading so screen reader users can find their place on the homepage.
Made light gray text darker and small text larger in our member resource cards.
Our latest WAVE check of the homepage found no accessibility errors.
Our goal
Our goal is WCAG 2.1 Level AA, the standard set by the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines. Our site is partially conformant, which means some parts do not yet fully meet the standard. We keep working to fix them.
Known limitations
Our member handout, newsletter and PowerPoint libraries are stored in Google Drive, and downloading from them requires vision and a mouse. We are happy to email any item on request.
If anything on our site is hard to use, contact us and we will help you directly.
