After School Snack: Apple Nachos
Apple Nachos
These apple nachos are made with apples, peanut butter, oats, and dried fruits

3 each apples
-
2 tablespoons peanut butter
-
1/4 cup rolled oats
-
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
-
1/2 cup dried fruit: raisins, apricots, dates

Cut the apples in half. Remove the core. Slice the apples in thin wedges.

Place the apples around a plate with the outside having a spiral. Then fill the inside with more apple slices.

Heat the peanut butter in the microwave just a little so you can drizzle it over the apple slices. It is ok to add a drizzle of oil to make it easier.

Drizzle the peanut butter over the apples.

Mix the oats with the cinnamon and dried fruit.

Sprinkle the oat mixture over the top. Serve family style.
