Here is a great way to cook 2 rainbow trout

Ingredients

  • filets of 2 rainbow trout
  • slices of 1 lemon
  • Italian herb mix
  • Fresh sliced basil
  • 2 tablespoons tartar sauce
  • Aluminum foil
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions

  1. Roll out one large piece of aluminum foil.
  2. Coat with the oil.
  3. Add the fish filets, skin side down
  4. Top the trout with the lemon slices and seasoning. Fold up the foil well leaving the seams on the top.
  5. Preheat the grill to 450 degrees.
  6. Cook the trout for 15 minutes until done.
  7. Pull off the grill and let cool for 5 minutes. Transfer to a plate with a spatula. We leave the skin on but you can take it off if you wish. Garnish with tartar sauce and shredded fresh basil.
